Day 3 - Wednesday, August 28th

Day three started off with the 4x100 free mixed relay where the Canadian team qualified for finals taking place later that evening. Swimming in the event was Jacob Blackburn who claimed a personal best, Joshua Baerg, Selena Zou, and Veda Ghanekar.

Next up, Brandon Van Wyk had a great swim in the 100 back, earning his best time this season. Jacob and Damiano Panetta swam solid races in their 100 free. In the 50 breast, Veda won her heat and improved her best time by 1 second.

Finals

In the 4x100 free mixed relay, lead off swimmer Jacob achieved another personal best. Following Jacob was Brandon, Selena, and then Veda who all achieved their personal bests this year. Working together, the team was able to break the Canadian Record by 1 second! Congratulations Team Canada!
